bliu bliu logoI can recommend Bliu Bliu for these reasons:

1.  You can learn German without worrying about grammar.
2.  You get exposed to new words.
3. You can click on any word or sentence and translate it into any langauge.
4. The content is awesome!

I use it myself and I found it so amazing that I started producing content for the German section. I now work for them as a host, but even if I didn’t, I would recommend them because they are just that awesome.

If you like Bliu Bliu, check out their 30 Days German Challenge!
I really love how Bliu Bliu thinks out of the box and found a way to teach a language without having to teach grammar.
I think habits are powerful. Bliu Blius method will teach you to develop a habit of learning by connecting you with a community of your peers and motivating you with fun and interesting content.

duolingo logoDuolingo is an app I have used for a long time and it helps me to quickly pick up the first few words of a language and get me startet.
Only drawback: My perfectionism sometimes compells me to try to make my whole tree golden, i.e. to reach a perfect score.
So I can highly recommend Duolingo, but always consider whether it actually helps you learn the language, or whether you are just chasing points.

meetup logoDid you know there might be Germans near you?
I can highly recommend Meetup.com for finding Germans and other German learners. Type in “German language” or similar phrases into the search bar to meet people who can help you in real life.
I use it for other meetup and I met great friends through this site.
